Jim Le Fevre is an animation director and general tinkerer. A BAFTA and British Animation Award winner he spent over 18 years directing commercials with Nexus Studios and experimenting with the medium of animation. Alongside his broadcast film work he has created interactive projects including the Gold Lovie Award winning Stages at the Science Museum in London. In 2006 he discovered a unique way of creating ‘live’ animation, a contemporary version of the Zoetrope, using a turntable and a bespoke printed guide, named ‘The Phonotrope’, which has is now a registered Trademark.
