HOW TO ENTER

Best Expanded Animation (VR/AR/360)

Work in which VR/AR/360 Video is used to creative and innovative effect to enhance the experience of the animation and the work as a whole.

Entry Requirements

Platforms: Submissions must be entered via one of the following: HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Gear VR, Google Cardboard, Hololens, Windows Mixed Reality or iOS 10+ or Android 7.0+

Submission: Email a brief description of the work to gulsen@britishanimationawards.com , including any instructions for use and

a) If released, submissions must include a download or streaming link and access code (e.g. steam code) that remains valid through to March 15th 2018

b) If not yet released, then a private download or streaming link with password must be provided. The link must remain active through to March 15th 2018.

For video files, please stick to common formats, our preference is for 1024 x 1024 resolution MP4 using the h264 codec with a bitrate of 10mbs. Audio should be included in the file.

If the work is real-time, please include a video file as above (or a youtube/vimeo link with password) in addition to the link for the executable. The video file and description will be used in the initial assessment.

Other Considerations: Judges will be using the target platform to experience the pieces. No additional accessories will be available to the judges (except platform-default hand controllers).
